Application

Application method
1.It should be diluted to the concentration of 0.1%(based on solid content).It is better to use neutral or desalted water.
2.When making up solution, the product should be scattered evenly in the stirring water, usually the temperature is between 50-60.

Use:
(1) Industrial waste water treatment:
For the neutral or alkaline waste water with pH value of 7-14, large suspended particles and ions of positive charge, it has the best treating effect, such as the waste water from iron industry, electroplating factory, metallurgical industry, coal washing, etc..

(2) Drinking water treatment:
When the drinking water still does not meet the standard after the treatment of the precipitation and filtering, then the APAM can be used as the flocculant. Its dosage is 2%-5% of that of the inorganic flocculants, but the effect of former is dozens of times of that of latter.

(3) It can be used for the recycling of the loss of brewers' grains in the alcohol plant and starch in the starch factory.

(4) It can be used as the water block agent in the oil field, and also the oil-displacing agent during the tertiary recovery.

(5) It can be applied in the paper-making industry. It can be used as the dispersant, retention aid, etc. in the long fiber paper-making, and also the flocculant for the waste water from the paper-making.

Polyacrylamide is called as PAM for short and it is polymerized by the acrylamide monomer. PAM is a kind of linear water-soluble polymer matter. With different techniques and functional groups, products with different types of charge can be obtained, including the anionic polyacrylamide (APAM), cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM), non polyacrylamide (NPAM) and amphoteric polyacrylamide (ACPAM). The average molecular weight of PAM ranges from thousands to millions and it is the high-molecular electrolyte. It is the white power or granule, and it can be dissolved in the water easily but not the common organic solvents including the benzene, ether, ester, acetone, etc.. The aqueous solution of polyacrylamide is the thick liquid, and it is non-toxic and non-corrosive. The solid PAM is hygroscopic, and the hygroscopicity is improved with the increasing of ionic degree.
Use characteristics
1) Flocculability: The PAM plays the role of flocculation for the suspended matter through electrical neutralization, bridging and adsorption.
2) Adhesivity: It has the adhesive effect based on the mechanical, physical and chemical role.
3) Resistance reducing: PAM can effectively reduce the frictional resistance of fluid, and adding a minute amount of PAM into water can reduce the resistance by 50-80%.

Since SIZEOMNI 40S is cationic can be used in combination with weakly cationic auxiliaries. For adding SIZEOMNI 40S, the pH of solution should be 4.
For enhance the SIZEOMNI 40S performance, cationic fixing agent should be required.
Application of SIZEOMNI 40S in the size press changes the wet ability of the paper and reduces its water absorption.
The presence of aluminium ions in the base paper is not necessary for obtaining optimum results. Since SIZEOMNI 40S is cationic, it cannot be applied in the size press with fluorescent whiteners and normal dyes or basic dyes. Only cationic dyes can be added in the solution.
The normal drying temperatures on the paper machine are sufficient to develop full sizing. No additional curing period is required.
SIZEOMNI 40S has good stability in the presence of large quantities of electrolytes.

SIZEOMNI 40S can be added batch-wise to the starch solution storage tank as well as continuously in the operating tank or the feeding pipe to the size press.
SIZEOMNI 40S is low foaming, so defoamers are normally not required.

Guar gum is a fiber from the seed of the guar plant.
Guar gum is used as a laxative. It is also used for treating diarrhea, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), obesity, and diabetes; for reducing cholesterol; and for preventing “hardening of the arteries” (atherosclerosis).
In foods and beverages, guar gum is used as a thickening, stabilizing, suspending, and binding agent.
In manufacturing, guar gum is used as a binding agent in tablets, and as a thickening agent in lotions and creams.
How does it work?
Guar gum is a fiber that normalizes the moisture content of the stool, absorbing excess liquid in diarrhea, and softening the stool in constipation. It also might help decrease the amount of cholesterol and glucose that is absorbed in the stomach and intestines.
There is some interest in using guar gum for weight loss because it expands in the intestine, causing a sense of fullness. This may decrease appetite.
USES:
Diarrhea. Adding guar gum to the tube feeding formula given to critical care patients may shorten episodes of diarrhea from about 30 days to about 8 days.
High cholesterol. Taking guar gum seems to lower cholesterol levels in people with high cholesterol. Guar gum and pectin, taken with small amounts of insoluble fiber, also lower total and “bad” low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, but don't affect “good” high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol or other blood fats called triglycerides.
Diabetes. Taking guar gum with meals seems to lower blood sugar after meals in people with diabetes. By slowing stomach emptying, guar gum may also lessen after-meal drops in blood pressure that occur frequently in people with diabetes.
