Monthly Requirement
1. Jet A-1 Aviation Fuel
Quantity: 2,000,000 barrels per month
Our objective is to secure the most competitive commercially workable CIF Houston price, using direct/qualified Nigerian refinery and export channels and optimizing the supply, freight and insurance structure.
Given the size of your monthly requirement, we believe there is an opportunity to structure this as a long-term supply programme, rather than a conventional spot purchase. This should give us greater leverage in negotiating refinery allocation and shipping economics.
Proposed CIF Houston Procedure
Upon receipt of your formal buyer mandate/LOI or ICPO, we will:
1. Verify the buyer and transaction requirements.
2. Confirm the precise specifications for each product.
3. Approach the appropriate Nigerian supply/refinery channel for allocation.
4. Obtain confirmation of available monthly volume and loading schedule.
5. Obtain current ocean freight and marine insurance costs to Houston.
6. Structure the complete CIF Houston landed price.
7. Present the commercial offer/SCO/FCO for your review.
8. Upon acceptance, proceed with contract execution, compliance, inspection and shipping arrangements.
For transparency, the final CIF price will be based on the actual confirmed supplier allocation and prevailing freight/insurance costs at the time of quotation, rather than an artificial indicative price.
Information Required From Your Side
To enable us to move quickly and negotiate the best possible price, kindly provide:
- Full legal name and registration details of the buyer
- Formal LOI/ICPO;
- Exact specifications for Jet A-1;
- Exact specifications for EN590;
- Exact D6 specification and grade;
- Confirmation that the D6 quantity is 200 million US gallons per month;
- Contract duration;
- Preferred payment instrument and terms;
- Confirmation of the receiving facility/terminal or nominated Houston-area delivery point, where applicable.
