Dry magnetic separator is a mineral processing equipment that uses magnetic field force to separate magnetic and non-magnetic components in materials without the need for water medium. It is widely used in mining, metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry, environmental protection and other fields, and is the core equipment of dry separation technology.
Core working principle
By driving the magnetic system (permanent magnet or electromagnetic) with a motor to generate a strong magnetic field, the magnetic particles of the material are adsorbed by the magnetic system during transportation, and are discharged after rotating with the drum/magnetic plate to the non-magnetic zone; Non magnetic particles are not affected by magnetic fields and are directly discharged in the direction of feeding, thus achieving the separation of magnetic and non-magnetic materials.
Mineral ore flotation equipment is a machine used to complete the flotation separation process. Inside the flotation machine, the slurry treated with reagents is mixed with air and aerated to selectively attach some mineral particles to the bubbles. Then the bubbles will float to the pulp surface and be scraped out into foam pulp, and the rest will remain in the pulp, so as to achieve the purpose of separating minerals. There are various structural forms of flotation concentrators, among which the most common is the mechanical agitation flotation machine.
