Bisphenol A is the raw material for polycarbonate resins, widely used (by themselves or in copolymeric blends) in construction, automotive industry, medical and sports equipment manufacturing etc. Polycarbonate resins can be also used as coatings. Bisphenol A is used for manufacturing of epoxy resins, which are being used as coatings and in construction industry. Bisphenol A can be also used for production of polysulphone, polyetherimide and unsaturated polyester resins.
