The PARSROS Manual and Motorized Liquid Limit Apparatus (Casagrande) are used to determine the moisture content at which clay soils pass from plastic to liquid state.
The Devices consist of an adjustable crank and cam mechanism, a blow counter and a removable brass cup fitted on the base. Different models with the same shape but with different base and cup weights are available according to the required specifications. Manual and Motorized versions are available.

The PRS-AS0120 Semi-Automatic Digital Bitumen Penetrometer is used to determine the penetration of bituminous samples under constant load, time and temperature. The Penetrometer consists of a cast iron base with coarse and fine levelling screws, a digital penetration measurement gauge 0.01 mm readability and a penetration timer unit.
Start button of the penetration timer unit is used to release the plunger fitted with the needle to start the 5 seconds test.
A water bath (PRSGE-AS4000 or PRSGE-AS4050, 25±0,1 C) and a thermometer ( IP38, ASTM 17C or 63C ) required for the test should be ordered separately.

The PRS-AS0400 Ductility Testing Machine is used to determine theductility of bituminous materials in a briquette mould by measuring the breaking elongation at a constant speed of 50 mm/min. It is designed for testing 4 specimens simultaneously. The Internal tank is made of stainless steel. The bath is fitted with an immersion heater in order to obtain (in normal conditions), the 25°C test temperature.

Each machine comprises speed control and water circulator to maintain the homogenous water temperature.

The PRS-AS0420 Ductility Testing Machine with Cooling Unit has the same specifications with PRS-AS0400 Ductility Testing Machine but with an additional cooling unit and It is not possible to convert PRS-AS0400 to PRS-AS0420 .

PRS-AS0430 Force Ductility Testing Machine has 4 loadcells. The accuracy of loadcells are ±0,1N with a maximum capacity of 300 N. The PRS-AS0430 has a cooling unit PRS-AS0430 model is equipped with TFT Graphic Display Automatic Control and Data Acquisition Unit. Failure condition can be down loaded to the Unit. PRS-CMTC03 Mortar Permeability Tester ( 3 Unit )

This method of test covers the procedure for determining the permeability to water of the pozzolana mortar prepared and cured under specified conditions, by measuring the percolation of water through Standard cylindrical specimens.

The permeability unit shall consist of a specimen container ring of 100 mm diameter and 50 mm high, held between a bottom plate and a water cell. The hydraulic head for testing shall be obtained by connecting the unit to a compressor through a water pressure vessel.

A pressure regulator and pressure gauge shall be included between the compressor and the water pressure vessel to indicate the test pressure. Water percolating through the specimen shall be collected in a container.

Typical details of an individual unit are given in fig. 6 and 7. The water cell shall be 100 mm diameter brass cylinder and the top and bottom plates shall be either of brass or any other non-corroding metal. The connecting pipeline from the water cell to the water pressure vessel shall also be of non-corroding metal or of hard board polythene.

This requirement is necessary since the tests last over a number of days in which mild steel or similar materials will get corroded and the rust formed will coat the top of the specimens and affect the permeability. The connection of units to the air cylinder shall be done with armoured heawy-duty rubber hose.
