Steel Cut Wire Shots are obtained by cutting wire into lengths equal to the wire diameter. Applications of Cut Wire Shots
Cut wire shots are frequently used in the sand cleaning, rust cleaning, reinforcing, forming, and stress-relieving processes in the casting, forging, machinery, metallurgy, heat treatment, steel structure, grid structure, container, ship, repairing and construction, bridges, mining, etc. sectors. Additionally, cut wire shots are used for stone cutting, magnetic shot casting, roughness pretreatment prior to electro plating, and surface cleaning and coating of various materials. For heavy concrete and blast furnace refractories, cut wire shot is frequently used as an addition to improve performance characteristics like wear resistance, high temperature resistance, anti-erosiveness, electrostatic shielding, and radiation resistance

Application

(1)Aluminium clad steel wire/strand is used for various voltage level power transmission lines , overhead transmission lines and overhead ground wires.

CISA: Daily Average Crude Steel Output of Member Steelmakers in March 11-20, 2020
CISA Members

During March 11-20, 2020, CISA member steel manufacturers produced 18.3661 million tons of crude steel, 17.0777 million tons of pig iron, 17.5848 million tons of steel products and 3.1921 million tons of coke.

Daily output of crude steel at CISA member steel manufacturers was 1.8366 million tons, up 1.55% from the daily output during March 1-10, 2020; daily output of pig iron was 1.7078 million tons, up 0.74% from the daily output during March 1-10, 2020; daily output of steel products was 1.7585 million tons, up 4.88% from the daily output during March 1-10, 2020.
