Fiber composites like boron- free glass fibers are extremely versatile and cost-effective. They offer advantages like lightweight, corrosion resistance, and high strength -to weight ratio.

Why use Glass Fiber Reinforcement Polymer (GFRP)?
GFRP is much lighter than steel, making it easier to handle and transport, which can reduce construction costs. Additionally, GFRP does not corrode like steel does, meaning it can last longer in harsh environments without needing regular maintenance or replacement. GFRP bar production generates 60% to 70% less CO2 emissions compared to steel rebar

5. PROCESSING:
Types 304 and 304L cannot be hardened by thermal treatment. Annealing: Heat to 1850o F to 2050 o F and cool at sufficiently high rates through 1500oF to 800oF to avoid precipitation of chromium carbides. Stress Relief Annealing: Cold worked parts should be stress relieved at 750oF for ½ to 2 hours.
