Aluminium UBC scrap refers to Used Beverage Cans, a high-purity, post-consumer aluminum material collected for recycling, baled (pressed) into dense blocks, and melted down to create new aluminum products, offering huge energy savings (up to 92%) over virgin aluminum and reducing landfill waste. This silvery-white scrap, prized for its purity (often 99%+), must be free from steel, plastic, dirt, and liquids to meet quality standards (ISRI specs) for making ingots and billets for automotive, construction, and packaging.
