PETG plastic is a transparent plastic. It is a product obtained by polycondensation of terephthalic acid (TPA), ethylene glycol (EG) and 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM) by transesterification. Compared with PET, 1,4-cyclohexanedimethanol comonomer is added. Compared with PVC, PET, PMMA and other materials, PETG has excellent chemical resistance, impact resistance and environmental protection properties. Its products are highly transparent and have excellent processing and molding properties.
Polypropylene (PP) is a thermoplastic resin polymerized from propylene monomer. It is a colorless, odorless and non-toxic white translucent waxy granular material. Polypropylene is divided into homopolymers and copolymers, of which homopolymers are isotactic, syndiotactic and random. Homopolymer isotactic polypropylene is the most used. Polypropylene has good thermal performance.
Polyacetal also called acetal or POM, is a popular crystalline engineering thermoplastic.
It is specified for high load mechanical applications and precision parts, where strength, stiffness, stability and reliability are important.
It has a continuous use temperature range of up to 180�°F (82�°C) or impact at low temperatures (down to -40�°C). It can also be processed by injection molding and extrusion methods.
