1. COMMODITY SPECIFICATIONS
* Commodity: Refined White Cane Sugar (ICUMSA 45 RBU)
* Origin: Brazil
* Quantity: up to 1,200,000 MT total (100,000 MT per month Ã?? 12 months)
* Delivery Term: CIF China Main Port(s) (ASWP / Safe Port)
* Range Price: USD $465.00 -USD $475.00 / MT (CIF)
* Packing: Standard export packaging (50kg polypropylene bags)
* Inspection: SGS or equivalent at loading port (Quantity & Quality)
2. TRANSACTION PROCEDURE & PAYMENT TERMS
* ICPO Submission: Buyer issues an official Irrevocable Corporate Purchase Order (ICPO) with full banking details, company registration, and passport copy of the signatory.
* Contract & Commercial Invoice: Seller issues the Draft Contract and Commercial Invoice (CI).
* Execution: Buyer reviews, signs, seals, and returns the contract and CI to the Seller.
* Financial Instrument: Buyer's bank opens an Irrevocable, Operative Standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) or Documentary Letter of Credit (DLC)- transferable or non-transferable in favor of the Seller's bank.
* Performance Bond: Within the agreed timeline after receipt and confirmation of the financial instrument by the Seller's bank, the Seller issues a 2% Performance Bond (PB) to activate the payment instrument.
* Loading & Partial POP: Loading operations commence. Seller delivers Proof of Product (POP) documentation sequentially as logistics progress.
* Final Shipping Documents & POP: Upon completion of loading, the Seller submits full shipping and POP documents including Bill of Lading (B/L), final Commercial Invoice, and SGS Inspection Report (Quantity & Quality) to the Buyer's bank via banking channels.
* Settlement: Upon document verification, the Buyer's bank releases 100% payment via MT103/TT to the Seller's bank.
* Replication: The same procedure applies to all subsequent monthly deliveries throughout the 12-month contract duration.
Key Points to Ensure Before Sending:
* SBLC/DLC Operative Clause: Ensure the contract clearly defines whether the 2% PB is required to make the payment instrument operative, as is standard practice for monthly contracts.
* Banking Details: If issuing as an ICPO, attach your Bank Capability Letter (BCL) or ensure the buyer's bank details are fully filled in.
