Crown Portland Composite Cement is CEM-II/A-M which is a cement consisting of Clinker, Gypsum, Pulverized Fuel Ash (PFA), Blast Furnance Slag and Limestone designated by the specifications of BDS EN 197-1: 2003; CEM -II/A-M (V-S-L), 42.5 N. The hydration process of normal cement produces Calcium Silicate Hydrate CHS & Calcium Hydroxide Ca(OH)2. Since PFA contains higher portion of reactive silica and slag contains alumina, it helps to convert Ca(OH)2 into CSH to gain further strength.

Mixing:
MF-8 should be mixed with a slowly rotating mixer to avoid air pockets. First add 2/3 of the totally required water. After mixing for a short time add the balance of water. It should be mixed for approx. 6 minutes. Plastic consistency for vertical and overhead surfaces: 4 litres of water per 20 kg bag Liquid consistency for injection as per requirement.
PACKAGING G-GROUT MF-8 is available in Bulk Jumbo bags with plastic inner liner. The product is also available in 25 kg plastic line bags.
