Physicochemical Properties: Magnesium nitrate hexahydrate is colorless crystal of monoclinic system, which is the most stable nitrate hydrates at room temperature. Specific Density: 1.461, Melting Point: 95 C(decomposition). When heated above 400 C, it will thoroughly turn into magnesium oxide. Cupric nitrate has three kinds of hydrates-trihydrate, hexahydrate and nonahydrate. The trihydrate is a dark blue columnar crystal. Specific Density: 2.05, Melting Point: 114.5 C.
