Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) is a clean and efficient energy source primarily used in the energy industry. Its characteristics include a high concentration of methane (85.0 mol%), providing excellent calorific value, with small amounts of ethane, propane, and butanes to enhance its quality.
LNG meets strict standards, with a maximum sulfur content of 10 ppm, ensuring minimal emissions of pollutants. Additionally, its low moisture and solids content (with particles smaller than 10 microns) ensures the gas remains free from impurities that could affect its combustion and performance.
This LNG is also controlled for trace metals, such as lead and zinc (0.50 ppm), as well as other metals like vanadium, calcium, and magnesium, which are within the established limits, ensuring stability and safety during its use.
