Our Shea butter is extracted naturally and can be used for culinary, cosmetic and pharmaceutical purposes. It is ivory in colour and has a nutty aroma.
The resin gum extracted from Boswellia neglecta is a superior resin also sometimes known as Black Frankincense as it has an unusual black colour that seeps naturally from the tree.
The Essential Oil is extracted by Nagaad Resins and Gums using Hydro and Steam Distillation, is 100% pure with no additives or preservatives, and is ECOCERT Organic Certified. The Essential Oil exudes a slightly sweet soft aroma that is very pleasing to the senses. Black Frankincense has cicatrisant and cytophylactic properties. It is well known for its skin healing and very effective to use on scarring, acne, boils, and stretch marks after pregnancy. Being cytophlactic, it promotes the regeneration of healthy cells and keeps the existing cells and tissues healthy. It is a great analgesic and also effective as an antiseptic on wounds and cuts.
As with all Frankincense it is a powerful expectorant and very effective for respiratory issues such as colds, flu, asthma, and other lung issues.
