A unique blend of both a pour-over dripper and an automatic coffee maker, the Chemex Ottomatic allows you to brew consistent high quality coffee quickly and efficiently.
The Ottomatic brews with Chemex's proprietary "Greedy Cup" shower head. The brew cycle is staged to account for pre-infusion, contact time between water and coffee, even wetting of the grounds, and consistent temperature between 197.6F - 204.8F. The Ottomatic comes packaged with a 6-Cup Chemex Classic coffee maker and is compatible for use with any of their 3, 5, 6, and 8 cup drippers.
In addition to the Chemex Classic, each machine is packaged with a pack of Chemex Bonded Filters, a glass coffee maker cover, and a bottle of Chemex Coffee Maker Cleaner.

Brewing Features
In adherence with industry standards, the Chemex Ottomatic dispenses water between 197.6F - 204.8F and between16oz - 40oz. When you're finished brewing, a hot plate will keep your coffee at ideal serving temperature without burning it.
Fits All 3, 5, 6, and 8 Cup Chemex Coffee Makers
All but the very largest Chemex Coffee makers are compatible for use with the Ottomatic. When brewing, simply fill the reservoir to the line that corresponds with the size of your coffee maker (3, 5, 6, 8) and place your coffee maker under the shower head. Each Ottomatic comes packaged with a 6-Cup Chemex Classic series coffee maker so you don't need to purchase additional equipment to start brewing.
"Greedy Cup" Sprayhead Technology
The Ottomatic brews using the Chemex's proprietary "Greedy Cup" shower head for a staged brewing cycle. The pulsing water event wets the entire bed of coffee for an even extraction while maintaining consistent temperature during extraction from start to finish.

Three Ways to Brew
True to its name, the Triple Brew features three brewing options for a single cup of coffee or tea as well as a full carafe of coffee. This is accomplished through the use of multiple brew filters specifically designed for certain types of brewing. The coffee filter can be filled with up to 60 grams of ground coffee and features a smooth interior wall for even distribution of the coffee. The tea filter has four ribs on the inside of to prevent tea leaves from getting stuck to the wall and improve steeping. Each filter is fitted with a safety grip for easy loading and removal.
By using two separate filters for tea and coffee, the Triple Brew prevents cross contamination between the two brewing methods.
Programmable Brew Buttons
You can customize all of the single-cup drink buttons to dispense between 4 - 16oz of coffee or tea. The single cup buttons come with the following factory presets:
Small Cup: 4oz
Large Cup: 8oz
Tea: 8oz
The full carafe brewing option cannot be reprogrammed and will always brew 42oz of coffee.

Design
To the left of the brew group are two pressure gauges â?? the far left pressure gauge shows the pressure in the brew boiler, and the gauge closer to the brew group shows the pressure in the steam boiler. Above these gauges is the steam wand, and below them is the steam activation lever.
To the right of the brew group is the digital display with clock and below the display is the keypad. This is also where you find the hot water dispenser and hot water lever. They keypad has icons, so you can remember which button does which. From left to right, they stand for espresso, double espresso, coffee, double coffee, programming and tea. When in programming mode, the espresso and double espresso buttons stand for a down arrow and an up arrow, respectively. The coffee button is used to access certain menus, the double coffee button has no programming function, and the tea button is used to turn the GS/3 on and off.
Brewing
The machine is heated to proper brewing temperature when the keypad buttons are backlit. Before brewing, itâ??s a good idea to run some hot water through the portafilter. This warms the portafilter to brewing temperature, so your espresso is brewed at a consistent temperature. Add grounds to the portafilter, insert the portafilter into the group head, and press the button corresponding to your preferred drink â?? espresso, double espresso, coffee, or double coffee. The machine will automatically dispense a set volume of water through the grounds. When brewing, the brew boiler pressure gauge should read about 9 bars.

The Trimble RTS873 is the most advanced solution out of the RTS family, allowing you to layout points every 10 seconds. Ideal for exterior layout as it has the ability to shoot 2,000 feet and larger. The Trimble RTS873 allows you to visualize 3D models in the field using Trimble VISION, so you can see the true size and scope of your project before you begin.
The Trimble RTS873 Robotic Total Station allows building construction contractors the ability to more easily collect and layout field points using robotic interaction. In addition to the new total station, the solutions include the new Trimble Field Tablet with multi-touch gesture control that provides a fluid, touch-based interface to 3D models and common layout routines within the Trimble Field Link version 2.0.0 software.
By interacting directly with the Trimble VISION live video feed on the Trimble Field Tablet, contractors can remotely view and measure field points within the Trimble Field Link software. This allows contractors to move away from the total station, eliminating the need for manual sighting of points to be measured. The auto-focus green laser pointer provides enhanced visibility and more accurate positioning when using Visual Layout with Trimble Field Link for MEP to lay out overhead hangers or collecting as-built locations in bright daylight conditions. The unique ability of the RTS873 to focus the green laser at the defined measurement distance minimizes the â??laser spreadâ?? commonly seen with current total station designs.
The Trimble RTS873 includes a proprietary feature that is a Specialty Contractors game changer, a focused green beam laser. The focused green beam laser marks the exact location with a powerful and very visible laser spot. This in conjunction with Trimbleâ??s Visual Layout to correct elevations on non-level floors ensures fast and precise layout. The RTS873 also has Trimble VISION, an integrated camera in the robotic total station that provides a â??through the telescope viewâ?? remotely via the Trimble Tablet and Trimble Field Link.
