Coconut Fiber is a natural fiber extracted from the outer husk of coconut and used in products such as floor mats, doormats, brushes and mattresses, car seat. It comes 2 different colors brown and yellow, and it will get different quality. The brown one comes from old coconut and the yellow one comes form young coconut.

Palmyra fibre is a natural fibre that derives from treatment of the leaf sheats of the Palmyra Palm and is produced in souther and eastern India. Bassine is inexpensive and durable, and its sweeping qualities are fair, but it is not resilient and may distort in use especially when wet. As with most of the other vegetable fibres it has good resistance to heat and most chemicals. Bassine is shipped in bundles ready to use in a brush-making machine, which makes it very attractive to the brush manufacturer. Coconut Fiber, or coir, is a natural fiber derived from the husk of coconuts and is used in products such as
floor mats, rugs, brushes, and mattresses. Coconut Fiber is the fibrous material that sits between the firm
inner and outer layers of the coconut. Other uses for brown coir from ripe coconuts include upholstery
filler, burlap, and gardening. White coir, extracted from unripe coconuts, is used to make finer brushes,
twine, rope and fishing nets.
Do not confuse coconut fiber with pith or coconut peat, which is a powdered and spongy material that
results from processing coir. Chemically similar to coconut fiber, but contains shorter fibers. The name
coconut peat can refer to coconut or pith or a mixture as both have good water retention and can be
used as an alternative to peat.
