The NCA-2 Network Control Annunciator is an advanced display and control module manufactured by Notifier by Honeywell. It is designed for use with Notifier fire alarm control panels (FACPs) in networked fire alarm systems. The NCA-2 serves as a central point for monitoring, control, and system diagnostics, providing operators with detailed information about system status and events.
These systems are widely used in environments where traditional firefighting methods might be too slow or ineffective. For example, in server rooms, kitchens, industrial settings, or chemical plants, fire suppression systems are vital for ensuring safety.
Key Features of NCA-2
High-Resolution LCD Display: Equipped with a 640-character backlit LCD screen for clear visibility of system status. Displays event details, including fire, trouble, and supervisory notifications.
Comprehensive System Control: Allows remote control of fire alarm functions such as silencing alarms, resetting the system, and acknowledging events. Provides full control over multiple networked panels in a Notifier system.
Networking Capabilities: Compatible with Notifier's Noti Fire Net to manage multiple panels and devices across large facilities. Acts as a centralized monitoring station for the entire network.
Event Logging and History:Stores up to 2,000 system events, enabling easy review and diagnostics. Events are categorized for quick identification of fire, trouble, or maintenance needs.
Ease of Operation Features user-friendly menus and tactile keypad controls for intuitive navigation. Allows operators to access specific zones or panels quickly.
