Antibacterial hand wash is a cleansing product formulated with added antiseptic ingredients (such as benzalkonium chloride or chloroxylenol) designed to kill bacteria or inhibit their growth. While often used for general hygiene, it is particularly recommended for high-risk environments to prevent the spread of infections.
Wet Hands: Wet hands with clean, running water (warm or cold).
Apply Soap: Dispense a sufficient amount of liquid soap to cover all hand surfaces.
Lather and Scrub: Rub hands together to create a lather, covering the back of the hands, between the fingers, and under the fingernails.
Duration: Scrub thoroughly for at least 20 seconds.
Rinse: Rinse hands well under running water to remove all traces of soap and germs.
Dry: Dry hands completely using a clean towel or air dryer, as wet hands can easily re-contaminate.
