Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dihydrate (CaSO·2HO). It is widely used in construction for products like drywall, plaster, and cement. Gypsum is also used in agriculture as a soil conditioner and in various industrial processes. It appears as a white or grayish mineral and can form transparent crystals.
Crude gypsum is used as a fluxing agent fertilizer filler in paper and textiles and retarder in Portland cement About threefourths of the total production is calcined for use as plaster of Paris and as building materials in plaster Keenes cement board products and tiles and blocks

Synthetic Gypsum powder
Synthetic gypsum is produced as a result of the desulfurization of industrial exhaust gases. The installations used during this process allow for the binding of large amounts of sulfur dioxide with full use of the sorption agent. The gypsum obtained in this method is a good substitute for natural gypsum, most of the substance's components (99%) are compounds identical to mineral substances of natural origin.
It is a material that can be used for the plaster building materials industry, for the cement industry as a cement setting time regulator and for the aerated concrete industry - to activate the hardening process.
The high content of CaS04 2H20 makes the material suitable for use where plaster construction products, plaster plasters for manual and machine application, as well as putties and plaster glue are produced.
A wide range of this type of products is very popular on the building materials market.

Calcined Gypsum, or Plaster of Paris, is a white powder made by heating gypsum mineral to remove some of its water content. When mixed with water, it turns into a paste that quickly sets into a hard, solid form. It's widely used in construction, art, and various industrial applications for its quick-setting and durable properties.
Gypsum is a formulated binder plaster (B2 class) used in buildings to produce decorative gypsum cornices and ceiling decorations.
Excellent for making gypsum cornices and ceiling plastering.
Good balance between mechanical properties and workability.

Gypsum is a soft sulfate mineral composed of calcium sulfate dehydrate, with the chemical formula CaSO. 4· 2H2O Gypsum is widely used in construction because of its ability to hold nails, screws and other small parts. Some gypsum products are used to make drywall, plaster foundation and facing materials, concrete and stucco.
Product Description:
Gypsum is Calcium Sulphate Dihydrate (CaSO4.2H2O) deposited in sedimentary layers on the seabed. Under high pressure and temperature, Gypsum turns into Anhydrite (CaSO4). Gypsum / Anhydrite are produced from open-cast mines or underground mines. Gypsum is normally only screened to remove â??finesâ?? (mainly mudstones), then crushed and finely ground for various applications. Gypsum is an indispensable component of Ordinary Portland Cement as it has a great influence on water consumption of standard consistency and strength simultaneously. During the cement manufacturing process, 4%-6% of Gypsum (by weight) in crushed form is introduced during the final grinding process upon cooling of clinker. It plays an important role in controlling the rate of hardening or setting of cement. If not added, the cement will set immediately after mixing of water leaving no time for concrete placing. Over 60% of Gypsum produced across the world is used in cement manufacturing. Other applications include the production of plaster, plasterboards, Gypsum fiberboard, and Gypsum blocks. It can also be used as a soil conditioner and has various other specialized applications. An important property of Gypsum is that it is naturally fire-resistant.

Used as a powerful binder in the Fast-Dry tennis court clay.
Plaster of Paris (casting moulds, surgical splints, modeling).
WELLYOUNG acoustic perforated gypsum board is designed on the basis of helholtz resonance theorem, After perforated, the holes, board and the wall make up of many resonant cavities, when air molecules pass the holes, the resonant cavities will consume large quantities of sound energy.
WELLYOUNG perforated gypsum board is one of the best sound absorption products, it ie widely used in Auditorium, office, cinema, church, hospital. School and so on.

Applications:
Finishes applied to plasterboard surfaces can have a significant effect on the perceived quality of the installation, particularly where critical lighting conditions exist.
Textured or heavy patterned finishes tend to hide imperfections
Matt finishes minimize imperfection visibility
Semi-gloss and gloss finishes highlight imperfections
Light colours are less likely to show imperfections and impact damage
