This type of saffron should be white with no tails, and the three-branched stigmas should be separated with no concavity. This type of saffron has a very good color.
Saffron that is made by separating its red parts with a very small amount of its white part (style) is called Pushal saffron (in fact, this type of saffron contains strands of 2-3 mm of style).
