Semi-coke is light black; characterized by high fixed carbon, high specific resistance, high chemical activity, low ash content, low sulfur and Low phosphorus. China Semi-coke is called "Lan coke"in Chinese, because of its blue flame when burning. Its has the similar construction with met coke, while the average price is only half the cost of met coke.
Semi coke (gas coke) is made of high quality Jurassic coal briquettes which can be found in the ShenFu coalfield. As a new type of carbon material, it has attractive properties of high fixed carbon, high specific resistivity, high chemical activity , low ash content, low Aluminum, low sulphur, and low phosphorus. It has gradually replaced metallurgical coke anthracite and charcoal. As an irreplaceable carbon material, it has been widely used in producing Calcium Carbide, Silicon Metal, Ferroalloy, Silicon Iron, Silicomanganese,
Carborundum, and so on. Moreover, it can also replace a fairly large number of anthracite and hard coke applications in the area of blast furnace injection, producing charring materials and activated carbon.
Pet Coke briquettes is produced on order from pet coke powder which is generated whilst recycling of anodes in the aluminium industry. Pet coke briquettes forms part of our new product development and we are exploring new markets for this product.
The Pet coke originates from calcined petroleum coke and three (3) different grades are available, depending on quality:
Green petroleum coke or green coke was a solid residue carbon substance processed from refinery petroleum. Green coke has higher calorie comparing with traditional steam coal, it can reach 7500-8500 KCal/kg.

Metallurgical Coke is the critical elements used as fuel in iron and steel industries. Solid Fuels provides global sourcing for Blast Furnace Coke. We also supply small Metallurgical Coke sizes such as Nut Coke, Buckwheat Coke and Coke Breeze from both domestic and global sources. These smaller sizes are used in various industrial applications such as ferroalloy production, iron ore pelleting, sintering and metal smelting.
