GH-47 - 120L HDPE Open-Head Drum for Easy-Access Storage & Transport
The GH-47 is a 120L open-head HDPE drum with a full removable top secured by a metal hoop clamp, sealing ring, and black lid system. Unlike closed-head drums, where filling and emptying take place through a small bung hole, the GH-47 opens completely - providing full-top access to load, scoop, mix, inspect, and clean contents directly.
This drum is built for operations that need frequent access to contents - adding raw materials in batches, scooping out viscous pastes, mixing formulations inside the container, or washing the drum for reuse. The open-head design eliminates the frustration of working through a narrow opening.
Molded from virgin HDPE in a compact Ã?500 Ã? 800 mm cylindrical body, the GH-47 fits between small 20-30L drums and full-size 200L barrels - offering mid-capacity storage that one person can still handle without the bulk and weight of a 200L drum.
What This Drum Does for Your Operation
Full-top access for solids, pastes & viscous products - The removable lid opens the entire drum diameter. Load powders, flakes, gels, sludges, or semi-solid materials that won't flow through a bung hole. Scoop out contents with standard tools. Ideal for adhesives, resins, mastics, food ingredients, and chemical pastes.
Mix & blend inside the drum - Open the lid, add your components, mix directly in the container, then seal and ship. No need to transfer to a separate mixing vessel. Dual-grade capability - The GH-47 is primarily an industrial-grade drum for chemical and hazardous liquid/solid packaging, with UN certification (CN/C294306) for dangerous goods transport.
