Product Overview
Our factory specializes in the supply of PTFE high-temperature wire and cable, including the AF-250 series â?? a premium range of PTFE insulated hook-up wires designed for demanding high-temperature applications. With continuous operating temperature up to 250°C and voltage ratings covering 250V, 600V and 1000V, the AF-250 series delivers reliable performance in compact, weight-sensitive, and chemically harsh environments. Available insulation materials include PTFE, FEP, PFA, and ETFE, with conductor options of silver-plated copper or tinned copper, in solid or stranded constructions. The product line covers a full range of AWG 9 to AWG 34, with custom sizes available upon request. As a specialty PTFE insulated wire expert, we offer complete customization to meet your specific project requirements.
Key Features & Advantages
1. Continuous 250°C Rating Withstands prolonged highâ??temperature exposure, reducing risk of insulation softening, aging or performance degradation common with conventional materials
2. Silverâ??Plated Copper Conductor Excellent electrical conductivity, oxidation resistance, and superior solderability â?? suitable for reliable connections in highâ??temperature environments
3. PTFE Insulation Outstanding resistance to oils, acids, alkalis, chemicals, and aging â?? ideal for complex industrial environments
4. Three Voltage Grades AFâ??250â??2Q (250V), AFâ??250â??2 (600V) and AFâ??250â??2H (1000V) â?? easy system voltage and installation space matching
5. Flexible Customization Supports solid or stranded conductors; conductor stranding, insulation O.D., colors, lengths and packaging can be tailored to project requirements
6. Broad Application Base Aerospace equipment, semiconductor manufacturing, industrial automation, electroâ??thermal equipment, medical devices, electronics and precision instrumentation
FAQ
Q1: What are the differences between AF-250-2Q, AF-250-2 and AF-250-2H?
The primary differences are rated voltage and insulation thickness: AF-250-2Q is a 250V compact type, AF-250-2 is the 600V standard type, and AF-250-2H is the 1000V heavy-duty type. Final selection should also consider conductor size, finished O.D. and equipment-level standards.
Q2: Can the AF-250 series be used continuously at 250°C?
The AF-250 series is rated for continuous operation up to 250°C. Actual service life is influenced by conductor temperature rise, environmental media, mechanical flexing, installation method and voltage stress. Critical applications should be validated under actual operating conditions.
Q3: What AWG sizes are available?
The series supports custom sizes from 38 AWG to 8 AWG. Current standard tables list common sizes from 32 AWG to 10 AWG / 11 AWG. For non-listed sizes, please provide conductor construction, target O.D. and electrical performance requirements for confirmation.
