Tinted glass is also produced by the float process with small quantities of metal oxides added to the normal clear composition to create the desired colour.
TINTED FLOAT GLASS is a range of uncoated body-tinted glasses, with low light reflection and high energy absorption. The glass come in different colours: Blue, Ford Blue, Ocean Blue, F-Green, Dark Green, Euro Bronze, Golden Bronze, Euro Grey, Dark Grey, Pink.
Tinted float glass has excellent solar control properties. The transmittance of visible and infrared light is adjusted. Meanwhile, those rich and pure colors may meet the requriment by various building styles .
They also can be used with Low-E,self-cleaning glass.
The products are particularly suitable for applications that demand solar control without the use of surface coating, for residential or commercial applications. To achieve thermal insulation, the products have to be combined with a low-emissivity glass in an insulating glass unit
