Crown Portland Composite Cement is CEM-II/A-M which is a cement consisting of Clinker, Gypsum, Pulverized Fuel Ash (PFA), Blast Furnance Slag and Limestone designated by the specifications of BDS EN 197-1: 2003; CEM -II/A-M (V-S-L), 42.5 N. PCC is the most suitable cement for constructions in Bangladesh. CEM â?? II /A-M contains 80-94% Clinker, which is substantially higher than CEM â?? II/B-M containing 65 â?? 79% Clinker that provide us extra advantage in strength development and increase concrete performance.
Both slag & fly ash (PFA) are used in PCC. Percentage of SiO2 in PFA is higher than slag which is advantageous to gain more long-term strength and ensure durable concrete. This type of cement is used for large constructions all around the world and it has been used during the last few decades.
The hydration process of normal cement produces Calcium Silicate Hydrate CHS & Calcium Hydroxide Ca(OH)2. Calcium Hydroxide Ca(OH)2 does not contribute to gain strength and it is the weak part of reaction which is not suitable for concrete. Since PFA contains higher portion of reactive silica and slag contains alumina, it helps to convert Ca(OH)2 into CSH to gain further strength.

92% Ferro Silica Fume meets the creteria of most of the relevent international and Indian Standard specification. Its packed in 25 kg bags & Big 1 mt Jumbo Bags from Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Microsilica is a highly reactive pozzolan and gives concrete a denser microstructure, lower permeability higher electrical resistivity leading to improved durability.
Combined with correct design and workmanship, microsilica concrete offers characteristics that will ensure long term durability and service life. It durability of a reinforced concrete structure can be defined as the capability of the structure to maintain its original functional and structural characteristics during the expected service life in the exposure conditions it was intended for.
G-FINE ULTRAFINE is a new generation Supplementary Cementitious material (SCM) with a built-in high tech content. It is processed based on high glass content with high reactivity obtained through the process of controlled granulation process results in unique particle size distribution. The raw materials are composed primarily of low calcium silicate based mineral additives.
Its latent hydraulic property and pozzolanic reactivity results in an enhanced hydration process. Addition of G-FINE improves the packing density of the paste component. In spite of its high fineness the results are in lowering water demand, admixture dosage and hence improving strength and durability parameters of concrete at all ages.
G-FINETM are observed in the concrete mix design, the initial rate of strength development was found to be increased or similar as other pozzolanic materials.
Application
Roads, Residential, Commercial structures
Producing mass concrete for raft and pile foundations
Low water to binder rations for high performance concrete
Better retention of workability and faster initial strength gain
High Strength construction work in low or high temperature weather
Benefits
Increase compressive strength ,permeability, workability of concrete
Improves the durability of concrete
It can be used in waterproofing as an additive
It can decrease the heat of hydration
Resistance against saltwater & chemicals
Non-Toxic, Eco friendly
Cost effective, economical solution DOSAGE These goals are accomplished using cement pastes, mortars, and concretes with water-Cementitious material ratios ranging from dosage: 5% to 10% .The segregation of cement paste is caused by high super plasticizer dosages that do not cause segregation of concrete with the same water-Cementitious material ratio. Concrete containing G-FINETMas a partial replacement for cement exhibits an increased compressive strength because of the improved strength of its cement paste constituent. Changes in the paste-aggregate interface caused by silica fume appear to have little effect on the uniaxial compressive strength of concrete
PACKAGINGS G-FINE shall be packed and supplied in 25 Kg plastic bags/Customized packing is done if required in G-Fine brand. It is also available in Bulk Jumbo bags. STORAGE G-FINE when stored correctly has an indefinite shelf life. Like cement,G-FINE must be protected from contamination and moisture. The product can be stored in bulk in a clean, dry storage silo.SAFETY INFORMATION / DECLARATION
Extensive testing has shown G-FINE to be non-toxic and environmentally friendly. No known significant health risks are associated with G-FINE but high concentrations of dust may cause irritation. It is recommended that suitable Protective clothing, gloves and eye/face protection is worn. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical advice. The following information has been obtained from test results in an accredited l
G FINE is a new generation supplementary cementitious material (SCM) with a built-in high tech content. In spite of its high fineness it does not increase water demand at the dosage range of 5 to 15 percent of normal OPC in general. In fact concrete slump is seen to be improved, due to the dense packing of cementitious material, producing low void content. The use of G FINE results in hydrated cement matrix to comprise of very small pores.
G FINE is a specially processed product based on high glass content with high reactivity obtained through the process of controlled granulation. The raw materials are composed primary of low calcium silicates. The processing with other select ingredients results in controlled particle size distribution. G FINE can also be used as a high range water reducer to improve compressive strength or as a super workability aid to improve flow.
G FINE can be used as practical substitute for Silica Fume as per the results obtained. If the advantages of G FINE are observed in the concrete mix design, the initial rate of strength development was found to be increased or similar as that of Silica Fume.
Where to use G FINE :
Residential, roads, airports, commercial building. Producing mass concrete structures and pile. In high-rise structures the concrete is to be pump easily. Low water to binder ration for high performance concrete. Precast concrete element for heavy structures precast units. To improved initial strength and increase faster . Better retention of workability and improved strength gain.
Benefits of G FINE :
The workability of the mix retention is improved Improve durability and permeability of concrete Increased strength of concrete Reduction in segregation can be observed in the mix Reduction in heat of hydration of the mix Non- toxic , eco friendly cost effective, economical solution
