Fire Blanket: A fabric woven from materials such as fiberglass after treatment.

A fire blanket, also known as a fire quilt, fire suppression blanket, flame-resistant blanket, firefighting blanket, flame-retardant blanket, or escape blanket, is a fabric woven from materials like fiberglass that have been specially treated. It can isolate heat sources and flames, making it suitable for extinguishing oil pan fires or covering the body during escape.

Classification of Fire Blankets

By base material: Depending on the base fabric used, the products are named as follows: cotton fire blanket, asbestos fire blanket, fiberglass fire blanket, high-silica fire blanket, carbon fiber fire blanket, ceramic fiber fire blanket, etc.

By application: Household fire blankets, industrial fire blankets.

It is an ideal and effective outer protective layer for people and objects that need to be kept away from heat sources. It is also very easy to wrap around uneven surfaces. As a simple firefighting tool, it is widely used in enterprises, shops, ships, cars, and civil buildings. It is particularly suitable for places prone to fires, such as home kitchens, hotels, entertainment venues, and gas stations, to prevent the spread of fires.

As long as it remains undamaged, it can be reused. Compared to water-based or dry powder fire extinguishers:

It has no expiration date.

It does not cause secondary pollution after use.

It is insulating and heat-resistant.

It is portable, easy to configure, quick to use, and reusable if undamaged.

Since fire blankets are very soft firefighting tools, they can quickly cut off oxygen and extinguish fires in the initial stages, controlling the spread of the disaster. They can also serve as protective gear for timely escape. By wrapping the blanket around the entire body, the user is well-protected during escape due to the blanket's flame-resistant and heat-insulating properties.

Main performance characteristics: Non-flammable, heat-resistant (550-1100C), soft, smooth, tightly woven, and non-irritating to the skin. It is an ideal and effective outer protective layer for people and objects that need to be kept away from heat sources, and it is very easy to wrap around uneven surfaces. It can be reused as long as it remains undamaged.

Fire suppression principle: Cover the fire source to cut off the air supply, thereby achieving the goal of extinguishing the fire.
