You should normally allow 65mm minimum to the edges and bottom of the footings using plastic bar chairs or trench mesh supports to keep the mesh in place.
Trench mesh is designated as x-L8TM, x-L11TM or x-L12TM. The x is the number of main bars.
3-L8TM has three bars, which are 8 mm in diameter.
4-L11TM has four bars, which are 11 mm in diameter.
Trench Mesh is made specifically for use in residential footing trenches. Made from grade D500L ribbed reinforcing wire, Trench Mesh is made using a variety of longitudinal wires up to 12mm diameter.
Cross wires are â?¯at 300mm centres. Sheets are made in 6m lengths, with widths varying from depending on the number of longitudinal wires. The longitudinal wires are at 100mm centres. The slime enters the machine through the material inlet and is distributed evenly by the Conical Basket Screen and spiral discharge rotor.
