Product Description: "Scylla serrata" is the common mud crab
occurring in the estuarine and mangrove areas and is commonly
called as Sri Lankan mud crab and it prefers to live in low saline
waters.
Sri Lankan Crab is a favourite dish amongst many Asian and European countries. They are known for their succulent sweetmeat which complements very well with rich and chilli crab paste or black pepper sauce, creating the Asia iconic seafood dish of Chilli Crab.
