MAIN APPLICATIONS:
- BBQ Charcoal, Hot Pot,
- Smokeless Restaurants
- Raw Material for Activated Carbon Production
- Water Treatment
- Metallurgy
- Organic Agriculture
- Industrial Combustion.
SUPERIOR ADVANTAGES OF OUR COCONUT SHELL CHARCOAL:

PRODUCTION PROCESS:
STEP 1 Selecting & Pre-processing Raw Materials
- Select mature, dry coconut shells with a moisture content of < 15%.
- Remove pulp, impurities, mold, and sand.
- The charcoal can be dried or oven-dried to an ideal moisture content of 11-12% to achieve a hard, less crumbly texture.
STEP 2 Carbonization in a Closed Kiln
- Coconut shells are placed in a closed kiln (low oxygen):
- Operating temperature: approximately 450-550C.
- Burning time: 12-20 hours depending on the batch and kiln type.
Objective: to remove water and volatile impurities, retaining fixed carbon.
STEP 3 Cooling & Curing
After leaving the kiln, the charcoal is cooled in a sealed environment to prevent re-absorption of moisture, then cured to stabilize before sizing and packaging.
STEP 4 Size Sorting
- Common coconut shell charcoal sizes:
- Particle sizes: 2-6 mm, 3-6 mm, 4-8 mm, 6-12 mm, 8-20 mm.
- Pellet/column charcoal for BBQ and restaurant grilling.
- Powdered charcoal for use as activated carbon, fertilizer, and water treatment.
STEP 5 Packaging & Shipment Preparation
- Flexible packaging options to meet customer needs:
- 50L bags (approximately 12-14 kg depending on particle size).
