Properties:
It is light yellow powder (granule) with a little osmyl and taste bitter . Specific gravity:1.42-1.52. Soluble in ethyl acetate , ethanol , solution of NaOH and Na2CO3 , insoluble in benzene , water ang gasoline .
Application:
Used as an acid accelerator currently and a medium fast primary accelerator. Imparts excellent aging properties when used both alone and in combination with MBTS, TMTD and many others basic accelerators for higher activity. Its accelerative temperature is low and easily be dispersed with lower pollution . Mainly used in the manufacture of tires, tubes, footwear, rubber belts and hoses etc.
