The pH of a 5% aqueous solution of Ammonium Bifluoride is 3.5. In aqueous solution it releases 0.35 pounds of hydrofluoric acid per pound of Ammonium Bifluoride. In strong acid solutions, Ammonium Bifluoride releases 0.70 pounds of hydrofluoric acid per pound. Ammonium sulfate is an inorganic compound with the chemical formula (NH)SO and a molecular weight of 132.14 g/mol. It appears as a white crystalline solid or powder. Ammonium sulfate is highly soluble in water and has a bitter taste. It is odorless and non-toxic.
