The MTCS2601 sensors consist of a micro-machined thermal conductivity sensor using four Ni-Pt resistors realized using MEMS technologies. The sensor is mounted in a miniature SMD package, available on tape and real. This MEMS TC sensor, combined with simple low power CMOS standard integrated circuits, is an excellent choice for size-critical leakage OEM detector or miniature vacuum gauge based on Pirani principle requiring ultra-low power consumption, long lifetime and no maintenance. Cirius1 Infrared Sensor for Hydrocarbons Description and Operation
The Cirius range of sensors use the non-dispersive infrared method to detect the presence of gases. The sensors contain an infrared radiation source, a dual element infrared detector and a patented optical arrangement into which gas diffuses. The dual element infrared detector responds to changes in incident radiation and to operate he sensor the infrared source should be pulsed with a duty cycle of 50% at a frequency typically between 2Hz and 4Hz. The sensor produces outputs for active wavelengths, which are modified by the presence of target gas, and for reference wavelengths, which are not modified by the presence of target gas. These outputs consist of a small AC signal in sympathy with the source pulse that is superimposed on a DC voltage pedestal. The sensor also provides a measure of internal temperature via an embedded thermistor. The sensor requires a voltage supply to operate the infrared detector and the connections to the sensor follow the industry standard 7 pin format.

To operate the sensor it must be connected to a suitable circuit that provides the source drive and extracts the small AC signals from the DC voltage pedestal. The circuit must amplify the small AC signals, extract a value from them and treat the results to provide a linear output related to gas concentration. The temperature output from the sensor should be used to apply temperature compensation in order to achieve the full performance specification.

NAP-57A Catalytic Type Gas Sensor Description
NAP-57A is a newly developed catalytic type gas sensor based on conventional type NAP-56A for not only residential but also commercial or semi-industrial applications because of having highly excellent poisoning resistivity. Since its power consumption and pin positions are completely the same as NAP-55A and 56A, it is easily replaceable as it is. However, it does not possess the explosion proof by itself, then it is recommended to install it into an explosion proof chamber for actual application.

Poisoning
CiTiceLs are designed for operation in a wide range of environments and harsh conditions. However, it is important that exposure to high concentrations of solvent vapours is avoided, both during storage, fitting into instruments, and operation.

When using sensors with printed circuit boards (PCBs), degreasing agents should be used before the sensor is fitted. Do not glue directly on or near the CiTiceL as the solvent may cause crazing of the plastic.

The FSM-T-04A combustible gas sensor module is a new unit which utilizes TGS6812, catalytic pellistor type gas sensor which features durability and stability. This module provides analog output voltage proportional to hydrogen gas concentration.(There is a memory in module, where factory calibration data has been store). FSM-T-04A has conformal coatings for moisture proofing and electrical insulation purposes, and is also capable of detecting sensor wire breakage. The unit has a wide range of operating temperature from -10 to +70'c.
