Electrical Calcined Anthracite (Eca)

Specifications:
Eca is obtained by calcining anthracite electrically under high temperature of 1800-2400c in vertical shaft furnaces, finally coming out as semi-graphitized product with typical resistivity under 650 ohm.

We have been in a strong position of supplying high quality electrically calcined anthracite with a producing capacity of 13000 tons per year.Equiped by two 1350kva furnaces, and the taixi anthracite coal has been chosen as the material, which is one of the three most superior coal in the world for features as low ash, low sulphur, low phosphor, high reactivity, high calorific value, high mechanical strength, high resistivity etc.

Eca is used as an ingredient in the production of cathode blocks for aluminum industry, and applied as tap-hole filling in special ferroalloy furnaces. It is also used as recarburizer in the production of steel-making because of its comparable quality and competitive price.

The Electrical Calcined Anthracite is used the best quality anthracite as raw materials through high temperature calcined at over 2000 by the DC electric calciner with results in eliminating the moisture and volatile matter from anthracite efficiently, improving the density and the electric conductivity and strengthening the mechanical strength and anti-oxidation.
