I. POM Rod Description
Good mechanical properties and rigidity, and close to the metal material. Its an ideal replacement material of copper, cast zinc, steel, aluminum and other metal materials. Excellent fatigue resistance and creep resistance. Good abrasion resistance, self-lubricated and friction. POM together with UHMWPE, PA, F4 are known as the four wear-resistant plastic materials. High thermal stability, good chemical stability and excellent electrical insulation.
II. POM Rod Characteristics:
Advantages:
1. High surface hardness and surface density. Small abrasion consumption, impact fatigue and shock resistance, small coefficient friction, and self-lubricating, therefore, it is the first material choice for manufacturing gear.
2. High mechanical strength and rigidity. Although the contraction rate is high, the dimension is stable.
3. Good dielectric properties, solvent resistance, non-stress cracking.
4. Torsional resistance, it can be restored to their original when removed the external force.
Disadvantages:
