Compared to EMT elbows, IMC elbows feature thicker walls and a galvanized finish, offering superior strength and corrosion resistance. Features of Elbow IMC Conduit
Material and Coating: Our IMC pipe elbow conduits are made from high-strength steel and finished with a thick, hot-dip galvanized coating. This provides excellent corrosion resistance, a key advantage over standard EMT.

Threaded Design: Unlike EMT fittings, IMC elbow conduits are threaded (typically female threads on both ends) to connect directly to male-threaded ends of IMC pipes, creating a very strong mechanical joint.

Wall Thickness: IMC has a thinner wall than RMC but is thicker and stronger than EMT, offering an ideal balance of durability and weight.
