PROPERTY
Tetra potassium pyrophosphate occurs as white powder. The product dissolves in water easily but insoluble in ethanol. Its aqueous solution is alkaline, and the pH of its 1% water solution is about 10.5. It has got good performance in sequestering, anti-flocculation, dispersion, emulsion, and enhancing the cleaning effect of surfactants.

USE
In daily chemical industry, tetra potassium pyrophosphate serves as a builder for detergents.
