Uses:
1. It can be used as a mordant in dyeing and printing, a dechlorination agent after textile bleaching, and a bleaching agent for paper fibers.
2. It serves as a reducing agent and sulfonating agent in chemical and pharmaceutical industries, and as a mineral dressing agent for non-ferrous metals.
3. It is used as a preservative in food storage, and as an antimicrobial and preservative in brewing and beverage industries.
4. It can be used as a wastewater treatment agent.
5. It is also used as a leather treatment agent in the leather industry and as a rubber coagulant.
