Industrial grade petroleum jelly is a solid hydrocarbon based grease with good lubricity, chemical stability, water resistance and corrosion resistance, and has a wide range of uses, mainly including the following:
Lubrication and friction reduction
Lubrication of mechanical equipment: under the condition of temperature not higher than 45â?? and not much load, it can be used as the grease of light load machinery to reduce the friction and wear between mechanical parts.
Lubrication of zipper and slide rule: it can effectively reduce the friction resistance of zipper and slide rule and make them slide more smoothly.
Protection and anti-corrosion
Metal antirust: It can be coated on the surface of metal products, metal parts and machinery to form a layer of protective film to prevent metal from rusting. For example, it is applied to corrosion-prone metal jewelry, non-stainless steel knives and gun barrels before storage.
