Icumsa 150

ICUMSA (International Commission for Uniform Methods of Sugar Analysis) is an organization that develops and publishes standards for the measurement and testing of sugar. The ICUMSA 150 specification refers to the measurement of the purity of molasses. ICUMSA 150 is a measure of the amount of impurities present in a sample of molasses, with a lower number indicating a higher degree of purity. The ICUMSA 150 specification is commonly used in the sugar industry to measure and compare the purity of different molasses products. It is typically measured using a variety of analytical techniques, including polarimetry and spectrophotometry. The ICUMSA 150 specification is used to ensure that molasses products meet certain standards for purity, which is an important factor in the quality and taste of the final product.
