Gum Damar is a natural resin obtained from Shorea or Hopea trees that grow in Indonesia's tropical forests. Gum Damar is well-known for its solubility in organic solvents and its ability to provide a natural glossy finish, making it widely used in various industries. In the paint and varnish industry, Gum Damar serves as a key ingredient for producing shiny, durable coatings that protect and enhance wooden surfaces. In the food industry, food-safe grades of Gum Damar are used as a thickener, stabilizer, and coating for candies or dried fruits. Additionally, it is used in the production of incense, aromatherapy candles, herbal medicines, and traditional handicrafts.
Our Gum Damar is sourced from selected damar trees in Indonesia, processed naturally without harmful chemicals, and carefully sorted by size and purity.
