Polypropylene (PP) Sheet
Polypropylene is one of the low-priced polymers. Polypropylene is distinguished from other thermoplastics by its superiority in mechanical, thermal, electrical, physical and chemical properties. It has very good resistance to acids, organic solvents, alkalines and electrolytes, has a low moisture absorption rate, and has a light and easy to process feature. Although the water vapor barrier property of polypropylene is good, its gas and aroma permeability property is mediocre. It is a better barrier against animal fats compared to polyethylene. It can be used up to 140°C.
General Features of Polypropylene:
Being light
High strength
Resistance to impact and compression
Resistance to many alkalis and acids
No toxins
No staining
Having hardness and flexibility
Low moisture absorbency
Easy to process and high heat resistance
Polypropylene is a low density resin, naturally translucent and milky white in color. It also has a high dyeing ability. It is strengthened with glass fiber and has the desired chemical, thermal and electrical properties.
Usage Areas of Polypropylene:
Chemical resistance tanks, liners, handrails, walkways, toilet equipment, household appliances, sinks, veneer consoles, cleaning room walls, floors and ceilings, thermoforming products, coated barrels and drums, pump parts and casings.
