Porro Prism

Porro Prism A refracting optical prism used in optical instruments to modify image orientation, In use, the light enters through the largest rectangular plane in the prism, passes through two total reflections of the inclined plane, and then penetrates the original plane of incidence, Because the light comes in and out normally, the prism does not disperse. But the image that passes through Porro prism will be flipped 180 degrees, and it will travel in the direction it entered, which means it will travel 180 degrees.
