Polyester Adhesive Tapes

These tapes are manufactured from electrical grade polyester film providing excellent electrical properties and di-electric strength. Excellent strength, conformability, high temperature, solvent & voltage resistance moisture-proof tapes providing an economical method for holding, identification, insulation and protection applications in electrical and electronics market for coil, transformer and capacitor wrapping. Available in different film thickness and colours.

Used for insulation of wirings, cores & inter-layer insulations, edging of slot liners and anchor coil leads, splicing and holding of wires and harnesses. Insulating of the soldered and welded joints on a line. Protecting coils and preventing corrosion. Used in cable jointing kits.

Coloured tapes are used in bus bar insulations, identification of leads, wires and cables, in polyester capacitors for outer wrap. Sealing of bus ducts, plugging extra holes in various equipments like current transformers and pipes in chemical plants for high frequency shielding. Phase separation of small three phase motors and external rotors, etc.

Class B insulation tapes with specification â?? IS 7809 Part II and breakdown voltages : 5KV, 6.5KV & 8KV with film thickness of 1mil, 2mil and 3mil respectively available.
