Lockable Frame Carriageway Introduction
A. Use: Municipal roads, highways, communications, electricity, water, communities, schools and other parks.
B. Merit: The ductile iron manhole cover has an advantage that the spheroidal graphite cast iron cover is about 30% lighter than the same type of gray cast iron manhole cover because of the high strength and toughness of the ductile cast iron.
C. Features: Good toughness. The impact value is similar to that of medium carbon steel, which is more than 10 times that of gray iron.
D. Strong corrosion resistance. In the water spray corrosion test, the corrosion amount for 90 days is only 1/40 of the steel pipe, which is 1/10 of the gray iron pipe. The service life is twice that of gray iron pipes and five times that of ordinary steel pipes.

H. The strength of ductile iron is comparable to the strength of cast steel. Ductile iron has a higher yield strength with a yield strength of at least 40k, while cast steel has a yield strength of only 36k. In most municipal applications, such as water, brine, steam, etc., ductile iron has more corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance than cast steel.
