Keychain Drive

A Keychain Disk is a small, removable data storage device that allows you to back up all of your critical information while retaining portability. Pocketec offers several models of external usb hard drives that fit the bill. Our datastor ultra, pro and mini lines all offer a tiny footprint for a disk that fits into the palm of your hand, just like a keychain usb drive.

Keychain Drive Tips
Keep in mind, too, that these devices utilize usb 2. 0 technology and are backwards compatible with usb 1. 1, so use them on any computer with a port. They are also functional over multiple platforms, whether you have a windows, macintosh or linux installation. Most installations will allow the drives to function as plug and play, which eliminates your need to install an additional driver. Also, each drive's power comes from your computer itself (on most machines), so you don't need to worry about your battery being charged or if an outlet's nearby for a power cord. All of these aspects let you have a data storage solution with utmost adaptibility - cross-platform file swapping and copying becomes a breeze. Back up your daily business records, copy your digital photos and music files, swap documents and project files between your laptop and desktop, or just house your data outside of your main computer
