Fiberglass Packing

Product Description

Fiberglass packing, also known as fiberglass braided rope, uses alkali-free fiberglass as the raw material and is manufactured through spinning and weaving. According to different use conditions, the yarn can undergo bulking or non-bulking treatment, adapting to various working conditions. The product has a continuous safe use temperature of â?¤500�°C, instantaneous temperature resistance up to 550�°C, and low-temperature resistance of -70�°C. It has electrical insulation properties, thermal insulation performance, and mechanical properties.

- Weather resistance;
- Thermal insulation performance;
- Retains a certain residual structural strength under short-term over-temperature conditions;
- Suitable for dry, low-pressure conditions; not resistant to hydrofluoric acid, concentrated phosphoric acid, or strong alkalis; not resistant to high-speed friction or strong airflow erosion; recommended for static sealing only, not recommended for dynamic sealing.

Application Scope of Fiberglass Packing

- Low-pressure dry static sealing and thermal insulation for industrial furnace doors and kiln bodies;
- Static gap-filling sealing and thermal insulation for high-temperature air ducts and high-temperature equipment;
- Flexible filling thermal insulation sealing for high-temperature equipment and pipeline ports.

Precautions

2. This product is a dry static sealing and thermal insulation packing. It is prohibited for use in dust removal filtration, pump and valve medium dynamic sealing, high-pressure, strongly corrosive media, or high-speed erosion conditions.
3. Fiberglass fragments can irritate the skin and respiratory tract. During cutting and installation operations, wear dust masks and protective gloves.
