Gypsum Plaster Of Paris

Plaster of Paris (POP)

Biliton Trading Egypt supplies Plaster of Paris (POP), a gypsum-based powder used in decorative plasterwork, casting, moulding and interior finishing applications.

POP is produced by heating gypsum under controlled conditions to form calcium sulphate hemihydrate. When mixed with water, it forms a workable paste that sets and hardens, allowing it to reproduce shapes and fine decorative details.

Typical Applications
â?¢ Decorative cornices, ceiling roses and interior ornaments.
â?¢ Casting architectural elements, sculptures and craft items.
â?¢ Mould making for suitable decorative and industrial applications.
â?¢ Interior patching and finishing on compatible surfaces.
