# HEPA Filter High Efficiency Particulate Air Filter

HEPA filter, short for High Efficiency Particulate Air filter, is a high performance particulate removal filter widely applied in commercial ventilation systems, clean room projects, medical facilities and air purification equipment. Manufactured following the EN1822 international standard, it captures fine airborne particles that ordinary filters cannot intercept.

The core filter media of a standard HEPA filter is mainly composed of fine glass fiber paper. The filter material is folded into dense mini pleats to enlarge effective filtering area, which helps balance dust holding capacity and air flow performance. Common efficiency grades cover H13 and H14. The H13 grade HEPA filter achieves no less than 99.95% filtration efficiency for particles of 0.3 micrometer diameter, while H14 reaches 99.995%, suitable for scenarios with stricter cleanliness requirements.

Multiple frame options are available according to application demands, including aluminium alloy frame, galvanized steel frame and stainless steel frame. The rigid frame guarantees structural stability under long term air flow impact and provides reliable sealing to avoid air leakage bypassing the filter element. Some composite type HEPA filters are added with activated carbon layers, capable of removing peculiar smell, volatile organic gas besides solid particulate pollutants.

This product serves for cleanâ??room HVAC systems, hospital operating rooms, laboratory ventilation, industrial dust removal equipment and commercial air purifying devices. It effectively blocks dust, pollen, mold spores, aerosol particles and other suspended contaminants in the air.

During installation and application, proper sealing is critical. Damaged filter media will directly damage overall filtering performance. As dust accumulates on the filter surface, air resistance will rise. Regular inspection and timely replacement are required to maintain stable purification effect.
