Our Robusta Grade 1 Temanggung represents traditional Indonesian robusta coffee processing at its finest. Sourced from the Temanggung highlands of Central Java, this coffee is processed through natural dry process where whole coffee cherries are sun-dried without washing or hulling, preserving the rustic, full-bodied character that defines traditional Indonesian robusta. The process is the most traditional and cost-effective method, requiring minimal water and equipment. Coffee cherries are spread on drying beds and turned regularly until fully dried, then hulled to remove the dried fruit and parchment. This method produces a distinctively bold, earthy robusta with pronounced body and low acidity ideal for espresso blends, instant coffee production, and markets preferring strong, traditional coffee flavors.
