Circular Counter-Flow Cooling Tower
Circular: refers to the fact that its tower body is cylindrical, with a compact structure and low wind resistance.
Counter-flow type: This refers to a tower where water flows downwards and air flows upwards , with the two flowing in opposite directions, resulting in high heat exchange efficiency.

1. Tower Shell (Tower Body)
The tower shell is typically constructed from fiber reinforced plastic (FRP), steel structures, or reinforced concrete. FRP materials provide excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and structural strength.

The circular tower design allows air to be distributed evenly around the structure, helping improve airflow efficiency and overall cooling performance.



2. Fan System
The fan system is installed at the top of the cooling tower and is responsible for driving airflow through the tower.

Most circular counterflow cooling towers use axial flow fans powered by electric motors, which create an induced draft to pull air upward through the tower.

A protective safety guard and air duct system are installed above the fan to ensure operational safety and stable airflow.



3. Water Distribution System
The water distribution system is positioned at the top section of the tower and includes spray nozzles and water distribution pipelines.

Hot water enters the system and is evenly distributed across the fill media through the rotating sprinkler or nozzle system, forming thin water films or droplets that enhance heat transfer efficiency.
